Los Gigantes cliffs are an impressive wall of rock that plunges deep into the sea.
The cliffs of the giants, are one of the most impressive natural attraction to be seen in Tenerife. The sheer size of these cliffs, which are around 500 to 800 meters high and drop almost directly down to the ocean.
The grandeur of the cliffs inspired the ancient Guanche people of Tenerife to think they were a sacred site. Indeed they thought the cliffs marked the world's end!
